Hello and welcome to the website of Manor Mead School

At Manor Mead we are committed to giving all of our children the very best start to their education.

As a school community, we have high aspirations and expectations for our children in reaching their full potential.  We are proud of all of our children’s achievements and it is a privilege to be able to be a part of their learning journeys.

At Manor Mead Shepperton and Virginia Water we have a focus on supporting all pupils to be settled and happy, and employing the very best strategies and individual approaches to overcome their individual barriers to learning.  We provide a rich and varied curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for our youngest pupils and the early stages of the National curriculum. The curriculum is adapted and differentiated to meet the needs of our individual pupils with an emphasis on supporting communication, independence and accessing the community.  We want all pupils to be able to fully access their individual programmes and believe that learning wherever possible should be exciting, colourful and fun.

We work in partnership with parents, discussing strategies and providing training and support through a schedule of coffee mornings and workshops, coordinated by our Home School Link Workers Elizabeth Harrow (Shepperton) and Laura Sweetland (Virginia Water).  We also work alongside other key professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupation Therapists and the Sensory Support Team in supporting pupils to make the exceptional holistic progress that we all expect.

We look forward to seeing you.
