Our School Day
A typical school week at Walton Leigh School is 30.25 Hours. This is made up from a combination of formal lessons, breaks and lunchtimes and informal sessions at the start of the morning and afternoon. Class timetables will be different depending on the specific needs of the pupils. School registers close at 9.30am. A typical week will look very similar to this:

| 10.30 - 11.00 | Morning break - supervised play |
| 11.00 - 12.00pm | Session 3 - formal lesson |
| 12.00 - 1.15 | Lunch and supervised play, 2 sittings, timings depend on needs of students |
| 1.15 - 1.25 | Session 4 Communication and registration |
| 1.25 - 2.10 | Session 5 - formal lesson (s) |
| 2.10 - 2.55 | Session 6 - formal lesson (s) |
| 2.55 - 3.15 | Session 7 - reflection on the day and end of day procedures and transition to transport |
